Privacy Policy

Baseball & Softball Scoreboard is a simple scorekeeper for the dugout and the bleachers. If Then Dev does not collect personal data, run analytics, or operate a server that stores your games. This page explains what the app stores on your device, the limited data the ad and purchase SDKs collect, and how to control it.

1. Information We Don't Collect

Baseball & Softball Scoreboard has no user account, no email signup, no login, and no chat. If Then Dev does not run a third-party analytics SDK, does not have a server collecting your usage, and does not sell or share personal data. Your games are kept on your device — see Section 2.

2. On-Device & App Group Storage

Your scores and saved games are stored locally on your device. The app uses an Apple App Group container to share live game state between the app and its widgets and Live Activity. This is local-device storage on your Apple devices — your games are never uploaded to a server controlled by If Then Dev.

3. Advertising (AppLovin MAX)

The free version of Baseball & Softball Scoreboard shows ads served and mediated through the AppLovin MAX SDK. AppLovin mediates demand from third-party advertising networks (its mediation partners), which may include networks such as Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, and other ad partners that participate in the mediation auction. To serve and measure ads, these ad networks may collect and process:

This advertising data is collected by AppLovin and its ad-network partners — not by If Then Dev — and is used for advertising and, where you have authorized tracking, may be used to track you across apps and websites for interest-based ads. For details on what AppLovin and its partners collect and how to exercise your choices, see the AppLovin Privacy Policy.

You can remove ads entirely by unlocking Pro (see Section 5).

4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

When required, iOS shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. This permission governs access to your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you allow tracking, ad partners may use the IDFA to show you interest-based ads and measure them; if you decline, that identifier is not used and ads are non-personalized. You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases (RevenueCat)

The optional Pro upgrade — available as a one-time Lifetime purchase or an annual Season Pass — is processed by Apple. The app uses RevenueCat to manage your entitlement (whether Pro is unlocked) across your devices. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase identifiers and an anonymous app-user ID as part of providing this service. The app does not tie purchases to a name, email, or account, because there is no account. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy for details.

App Store payments are handled entirely by Apple. Baseball & Softball Scoreboard never sees your payment method.

6. Children's Privacy

Baseball & Softball Scoreboard is widely used to score youth games, including Little League. It is rated 4+ on the App Store and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children, or from users of any age. The app has no sign-up, login, or chat surface. Advertising is served by AppLovin MAX as described in Section 3; If Then Dev does not collect personal data from any user. Parents and coaches who prefer an ad-free experience for youth games can remove ads by unlocking Pro.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and bump the Last Updated date below. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store What's New release notes for the corresponding update.
